Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution (CHC80308)
Description: The Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution is designed for those working, or wishing to work, in a variety of settings providing dispute resolution services and interventions for families post-separation and where people may be involved in the Family Law System.
The training for the Vocational Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution meets the Commonwealth Attorney General's Department requirements for accreditation as a family dispute resolution practitioner.
Duration: 6-8 months + placement
Entry Requirements: An undergraduate degree or higher qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Law or relevant social science
OR
A relevant accredited qualification at Diploma level or above. Or a Certificate IV in Mediation together with significant relevant vocational practice
OR
Applicants undertaking this qualification need to have previous experience in a dispute resolution environment, the job role would have involved the self directed application of knowledge with substantial depth in some areas, the exercise of independent judgement and decision making, and a range of technical and other skills.
All applicants for the Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution are required to participate in an application interview.
